A special look and extraordinary feel: this Varius Ivanhoe Black fountain pen puts a new spin on chain mail. The barrel is basically wrapped in protective chain mail with a new and indestructible Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) coating that is complemented by silver-plated and rhodium-plated fittings. The texture of the coating on the barrel results in a unique feel and writing experience. The rhodium-plated nib is made of 18-carat gold, and the fine engraving adds to the look and feel of the pen. Additional functionality is achieved by means of the screw-on cap that can be posted on the other end to act as a counterbalance in weight when writing, plus a spring-loaded clip.
The fountain pen features a piston converter that is compatible with all ink cartridges from the Chromatics collection. The pen comes in a premium case that doubles up as a perfect gift box.
