Description
Caran d'Ache Varius Rubracer Fountain Pen, black, B nib
The Varius Rubracer fountain pen is the result of creative freedom that reigns in the Caran d'Ache company. It is a combination of original materials that convey a new sense of expression. The hexagonal barrel is wrapped in black rubber with a guilloche pattern that reflects the world of motor racing due to its high degree of resistance, suppleness and elasticity. The striking silhouette highlights the contrast of materials. Soft and matt rubber complemented by rhodium-plated fittings - something special for both the look and feel of this pen. The barrel is highlighted by means of integrated screws that accentuate the anatomy of this fountain pen with a touch of masculine modernity. The fine workmanship is also reflected in the cap featuring a spring-loaded clip and echoing the guilloche pattern of the pen’s barrel. The somewhat larger nib is crafted by hand from 18-carat gold and has a pleasant flow of ink which enhances the unique haptic writing experience. A true masterpiece of design combined with technical sophistication.
The fountain pen features a piston converter that is compatible with all small ink cartridges from the Chromatics collection. The pen comes in a premium case that doubles up as a perfect gift box.
