Description
Montblanc SE Homage to F. Chopin Ballpoint Pen
With its Donation Pen Collection, Montblanc honours famous composers of classical music from the past. The “Homage to Frédéric Chopin” series and the various details adorning the pens pay tribute to this Polish composer and piano virtuoso. The platinum-plated clip is reminiscent of a piano hammer and is intended to express Chopin’s fascination for his musical instrument, whilst the pen’s centre ring is adorned with the music notes from his first nocturne “No. 1 in b-flat minor, op. 9, 1” that was published in 1832. The cap and barrel are made of jet-black, high-grade resin, and visual contrasts are set with platinum-plated fittings. The pen comes in a presentation case and also contains a small notebook featuring the music notes taken from his famous nocturne.
