A solid piece of brass, cast as a single piece and then deburred and polished. This tape dispenser is not a utilitarian object. It is a design object. A piece that stands beautifully and solidly heavy on the table. Immovable and yet elegant. The design sought a flowing, organic shape that blends into the surroundings instead of getting in the way. The result is the upper tip of an ellipsoid. Weighs 2 kilograms.
The hexagonally shaped roll holder made of solid brass refers to the iconic shape of the Legendär writing instruments. The blade is replaceable and fixed with a brass screw. The underside of the dispenser has been lined with a piece of suede—to protect delicate surfaces.
As for the user properties of the dispenser, it really doesn’t move a millimetre when you pull on the tape. A tape dispenser that you can truly operate with only one hand.
