As the mat does not containa hard core, it is flexible. Thanks to the natural thickness of the material used for the desk pad, roughly 5 mm, it lies flat on a surface and boasts a long service life.
The desk pad is produced from a single piece of leather using traditional methods of craftsmanship in this Italian leather manufacturer specialises in desk accessories. Particular emphasis is placed on keeping the material as natural as possible – the vegetable tanning of the leather means that no toxic chemicals are used. The crinkles and creases of the leather remain visible – this is intentional and adds to the authenticity and quality, making every desk pad a unique item. Over time, the leather acquires a distinctive patina that reflects one’s own work patterns. The edges are sealed by hand using black paint.
