Die Ecridor-Kollektion
Jedes Schreibgerät der Ecridor-Kollektion beginnt als Messingschaft und wird von Hand guillochiert: Rautenmuster, Chevrons, Flechtwerk oder das feine Schachbrettmuster des Damier. Diese Gravurtechnik, die Caran d'Ache seit den 1930er Jahren beherrscht, ist kein Oberflächeneffekt. Sie ist in das Metall eingearbeitet, Linie für Linie, mit einer Präzision, die weder abblättert noch verblasst. Darüber liegt eine Beschichtung aus Platin oder Gold, die dem Stück seinen Charakter gibt und ihn mit jedem Jahr des Gebrauchs vertieft.
