Description
Caran d'Ache - 849 - Kugelschreiber - Nina Cosford
Dancing figures. For the desk with personality.
Some pens are chosen for what they write. This one is chosen for what it says about the person holding it. The 849™ Nina Cosford is the result of a collaboration between Caran d'Ache and Nina Cosford, a British illustrator known for her expressive, joyful silhouettes and an ambassador of the house. Her signature motif of dancing figures wraps around the barrel in six colours, applied by pad printing with the precision the 849™ has always stood for. The artist's signature sits on the side opposite the clip, a quiet mark of authorship.
The hexagonal barrel is crafted from aluminium, lightweight and robust, finished in a warm, satin light cream lacquer. Clip and push button are made from nickel-plated steel. The 849™ is Swiss Made, developed and produced in Switzerland, and comes fitted with a Caran d'Ache Goliath medium cartridge in black, compatible with all Goliath refills. The pen arrives in a glossy white slimpack with a colour-matched dot and a silver logo on the inside, a presentation as considered as the object itself.
Refillable and built to last, the 849™ Nina Cosford writes with the same reliability it carries in appearance. It sits as naturally on a creative's desk as it does in a coat pocket. For those who give with intention, or keep what they find beautiful, this is the piece to reach for.
