This bright and stylish 849 fountain pen complements the range of the Caran d’Ache fountain pens which are, for the main part, classic. With its slightly rounded shape, it offers both a unique feel and look. The vibrant range of fluorescent colours lacquered on the lightweight yet sturdy hexagonal aluminium barrel is particularly eye-catching. Four colours – pink, green, yellow and orange – accentuate the pen’s contours. The upper section of the nib, made of shiny black plastic, enhances the contemporary design of this writing instrument and its modern look. The flexible stainless steel clip and the click-in cap ensure that the fountain pen can be securely attached to a shirt or jacket pocket. Each fountain pen comes with a Caran d'Ache Chromatics ink cartridge in Idyllic Blue and is compatible with all Chromatics cartridges, international long cartridges or an ink pump.
