After all, the square format deviates from the norm and thus looks even more interesting. The card as well as the matching envelope are made from hand-scooped deckle-edge paper. This is produced in Italy individually according to traditional craftsmanship. The fringed edge shows that this is genuine quality. In contrast to manually produced deckle-edge paper, industry standardizes the edge and thus cuts it off square. With manually produced deckle, however, the edge shows the uniqueness of each sheet and thus once again places the focus on handcraft.
