SALON x Bethge Greeting card ribbon, A5

This exclusive Christmas card was created in cooperation with SALON magazine, the magazine for hospitality, design and culture.
The motif designed specifically for this edition was created by the Berlin artist Sarah Illenberger, who was inspired by the interplay of colours and shapes of colourful bows and patterned gift ribbons. Her special talent lies in giving everyday things a new meaning and combining photography, art and set design in an impressive way. The silk ribbons were first captured with the camera, then translated into a three-colour design and subsequently applied to cream-coloured fine paper in the Bethge screen-printing studio in three separate manual printing passes. The resulting manufactory product has a beautiful colour depth and a pleasantly tactile surface structure.
The Christmas edition is available exclusively in the Bethge online shop and in the Bethge boutiques in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich. It can be perfectly combined with the matching SALON x Bethge wrapping paper.
