This high-end photo album featuring a cover in saddle leather with raw edges is handcrafted in Italy according to our specifications. The small leather goods workshop from Liguria specialises in crafting items from saddle leather and is known for its minimalist design and modern range. The photo album contains 50 cream-coloured pages and top-quality paper with a high ink profile to prevent bleed through, thereby ensuring that precious texts and captions are still legible after many years. The semi-transparent glassine dividers not only prevent the photos from sticking together, they also protect them. The vegetable-tanned leather means that no toxic chemicals are used in the preparation of the animal skin, and the ensuing leather is exceptionally strong and long-lasting. The leather’s surface is sanded slightly in a special polishing process but otherwise remains untreated. The decorative leather straps on the photo album’s spine create an attractive eye-catching accent.
