Faber-Castell Fountain Pen, guilloche, black, nib B

The Guilloche series by Graf von Faber-Castell boasts an ornamental pattern consisting of fine engraved lines, also known as guilloche, which originally adorned expensive watches and accessories. Consequently, these writing instruments have become true treasures: the shaft, in a high-grade resin, is adorned with a filigree design made up of finely engraved lines. The final touches to this work of art are applied using manual lacquering and polishing processes. The highly polished rhodium-plated cap, end section and grip section contrast with the engraved barrel part, thus creating an aesthetically pleasing elegance in the Guilloche series. The pen’s nib is handcrafted from 18-carat gold, and the precise iridium tip is inscribed by hand. This fountain pen works with a cartridge converter system, meaning the pen is either dipped directly into a bottle of ink or filled with ink through the nib holder.
