This M657 paper clip holder is crafted from solid brass before being sanded and polished by hand in an elaborate multi-step process. The surface is then lacquered in black which makes for an elegant contrast compared with the mirror-finish chrome. The magnet inside the dispenser keeps the paper clips securely held on the inside of the cylinder. Felt is affixed to the base of the paper clip holder to prevent smooth surfaces from getting scratched.
