Elegant dresses, stylish suits and shirts can be easily carried and stored in this premium hanging garment carrier made from durable canvas. The main compartment and a further zipped compartment have plenty of space to accommodate a complete business outfit. The main compartment can be opened completely using the central zip, which runs down the length of the carrier, so that larger items can be taken out or packed away; – hangers can then be positioned in place through the eyelet at the top of the carrier. The soft velour lining feels soft to the touch and protects the contents within. A wallet, passport or other travel documents can also be stored in a second zipped compartment on the outside of this garment bag. The garment carrier can be carried either by hand or over the shoulder using the removable shoulder strap. The vegetable-tanned and hand-dyed colour accents in maritime blue calf leather add a stylish touch to the travel bag’s modern look.
The new Porto Cervo Travel Collection from Bethge combines Italian craftsmanship with a timeless aesthetic design. The items in this collection are all made from vegetable-tanned calfskin – a full-grain, uncoated leather that is crafted from top-quality hides using a traditional process. After the skin has been prepared, the colourist dyes the leather using colour pigments. Similar to an artist in front of an empty canvas, experiments are made using different colour hues, essential oils and a variety of tools such as brushes, sponges and cloths. The leather is given a slight sheen by treating it with a nourishing cream. The result is an intense, vibrant colour with varying amounts of transparency and depth that resembles a patina developed through time and wear. An unmistakable collection has thus been created, full of elegance and quality, with accessories that can be beautifully mixed and matched.
