This premium desk pad made from vegetable-tanned full grain leather provides a stylish yet individual look to your private or working environment and prevents scratches and damage to your workstation. The desk pad is slightly raised on three sides, thus actively providing “anti-roll protection“ and stopping valuable writing instruments from falling off the desk and getting damaged. The desk pad’s smooth feel makes it ideal as a base for writing and working. As the mat does not contain a solid core, it is flexible. Thanks to the natural thickness of the material used for the desk pad, roughly 5 mm, it lies flat on a surface and boasts a long service life.
The mat is produced from a single piece of leather, using traditional methods of craftsmanship in this Italian leather goods workshop specialised in desk accessories. The skilled craftsmen who work here are true experts in crafting leather and are very passionate about their creations! The leather is processed with raw edges and kept in a natural state as far as possible. This is reflected in the individual structure of each desk pad. Consequently, minor scars or folds on the hides remain visible and testify to the quality of the material used. Over time, the leather acquires a patina that is characteristic of one’s own work patterns.
