The Grand Bleu mechanical pencil from the Léman Collection by Caran d'Ache is engraved with fine wave-like lines that reminds the beholder of the meditative waves and darkness of Lake Geneva. This lake is known in French as Lac Léman from which this exclusive collection takes its name. The deep blue colour, coated with a translucent varnish, highlights the wave-like guilloche design on the pen’s barrel. The elegant look of this mechanical pencil is heightened by the silver-plated and rhodium-plated contrasting fittings. Caran d'Ache and Swiss Made are engraved on the barrel ring, and the tip of the cap features a blue-lacquered hexagon which is typical of the Caran d'Ache label. The spring-loaded clip enables the pen to be easily affixed to a notebook, jacket pocket etc. A practical feature A replaceable eraser is located under the cap.
