A stylish look on business trips or during private activities is guaranteed with this timeless briefcase. There is enough room in the main compartment for a laptop, notebook, folders and other items for work, thanks to the soft velour lining that also protects delicate items from getting scratched. Other essentials can be stored either in the zipped compartment or the four slide-in pockets in different sizes that are held in place by a press-stud. The briefcase has grips to be carried around by hand, or simply attach the strap to carry over the shoulder. The practical trolley function, a trolley sleeve on the back for securely attaching your briefcase to the handle of your suitcase, provides additional comfort when travelling. It is particularly durable and acquires a characteristic patina over time. The edges of the leather are hand-painted in black, complementing the minimalist design.
The new Porto Cervo Travel Collection from Bethge combines Italian craftsmanship with a timeless aesthetic design. The items in this collection are all made from vegetable-tanned calfskin – a full-grain, uncoated leather that is crafted from top-quality hides using traditional techniques. After the skin has been prepared, the colourist dyes the leather using colour pigments. Similar to an artist in front of an empty canvas, experiments are made using different colour hues, essential oils and a variety of tools: Brushes of all sizes, sponges, cloths. The leather is given a slight sheen by treating it with a nourishing cream, which results in an intense, vibrant colour with varying transparency and depth that resembles a patina which is acquired over time and use of the leather in question. An unmistakable collection has thus been created, full of elegance and quality, with accessories that can be beautifully mixed and matched.
